Where is the Citron confit bakery located?
Our authentic artisanal bakery is located on Route 132 in Rimouski , near the beautiful Bic National Park. Unfortunately, it is not open to the public and we do not have a fresh produce counter. However, we do have a self-service freezer installed in front of the bakery and accessible at all times to stock up at low prices. The selection of breads available varies according to our production and traffic.
You can also get breads and fresh products every Wednesday afternoon at Demain | Épicerie zéro déchet , located at 206 avenue de la Cathédrale, in Rimouski. The quantity and variety of products offered will be adjusted according to customer demand.

Are you an online gluten free bakery?
We are indeed a vegan, gluten-free and allergen-free online bakery : we deliver almost everywhere in Quebec (except the Far North and the Magdalen Islands) and eastern Ontario .
All that bread that we imagine perfuming your house… it makes your mouth water, doesn’t it? 😇
Do you deliver bread everywhere in Quebec? And how much does it cost?
We deliver almost everywhere in Quebec (except the Far North and the Magdalen Islands) and Ontario. Delivery is free for orders of $100 or more (otherwise, it only costs $5). 🙌 Please note that a minimum purchase of $50 is required to place your order.
How do the controls work?
Orders are accumulated from Monday to Sunday evening. Once they are all received, we schedule the production for the week. So an order placed on Monday evening will be produced the following week, between Monday and Thursday!
👉 Please note: you have until Sunday 11:59 p.m. to place your order and receive your package the same week.
When you receive the email saying that your order is going into production, it means that it leaves the bakery that same day. Once in the delivery truck, it will be at your home in 24 to 48 hours , depending on the region where you are located.
How will my order be delivered?
Your order will be delivered with the carrier Purolator , directly to your door. Isn't life beautiful? 💛
What if I am not there when the delivery takes place? Or if I live in an apartment?
We always give the Purolator delivery person a mention to leave the package on the balcony . If it is not possible to leave an order in front of your door or in your absence, you can have it delivered to work , to a friend or a family member, just to make people jealous. 😆
How is my order packaged and protected?
All our breads are individually wrapped . They are then placed in a box. Our products almost always arrive in impeccable condition .

Your Citron Confit order is guaranteed. We promise to offer you delivery within 24 to 48 hours from the moment your order leaves the bakery. What is your return or refund policy?
As our products are perishable, they cannot be returned or refunded. Unfortunately, our products did not meet your expectations? While we would like everyone to be won over by our products, we are well aware that we cannot please everyone. That being said, we do not have a "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" policy and we do not refund an order because you do not like the product. Just like you would not return your loaf of bread to the local bakery because it was not to your taste.
I don't know your products, what do you recommend? Best sellers? Favorites?

Are your products free from the top 10 allergens?
Yes, our products are vegan and free from the 10 main allergens recognized by Health Canada:
- gluten free
- without eggs
- nut free
- peanut free
- soy free
- without sesame
- dairy free
- without mustard
- without seafood
- without fish
Our products are also corn-free , but we cannot guarantee the absence of traces since the factory producing our flours grinds it within its walls.

Are your gluten-free and allergen-free breads fresh or frozen?
The breads arrive fresh, directly to your home. However, they must be toasted to be fully enjoyed! 🍞
You can also slice them and then freeze them at home, so that you can keep your bread for 3 months.
Do the loaves arrive sliced?
No, and here's why. First, it's a question of freshness with transport (your bread will stay fresh much longer!), and because we haven't found an industrial slicer that does our breads justice.
The best way to slice them is with a chef's knife rather than a serrated knife. And they all cut really well, like (vegan) butter.
How do I get the most out of the breads in my order?
The only attention your breads require is to reheat them well (in the toaster or in the oven). The crumb will then become soft again, and the crust crispy. 🤤
Toast your slices a few times at a low temperature to warm them through without burning them. Smaller breads can be reheated whole in the oven (baguettes or ciabattas, for example).

How can you guarantee freshness if the delivery time is 48 hours?
Our breads will keep for 3 to 4 days at room temperature. When you receive your products – within a delivery time of 1 to 2 days – they are still very good (and very tasty !).
Then, you can refrigerate or freeze the breads that you do not plan to consume the same day. ☝
Do the products keep for a long time (frozen and once defrosted)?
As explained above, our breads can be kept at room temperature for 3 to 4 days (including delivery, approximately 1 to 2 days at your home), in the fridge for 10 to 15 days and in the freezer for 3 months .
You can freeze them whole or sliced, it's up to you! 🥖
Our biscuits, pancakes and date squares will keep for 10 days at room temperature .
Our other snacks and desserts (brownies, nanaimo, pouding chômeur, etc.) for 10 days in the fridge .
Our lunches (muesli, granola, etc.) last 3 months at room temperature .
